Vacancy: AP is hiring an admin support officer

The Agency for Peacebuilding (AP) is looking for a part-time admin support officer. AP is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote conditions for resolving conflicts, reducing violence and building lasting peace. Founded in 2015 and based in Bologna, it is the first agency in Italy specialised in peacebuilding. The Agency for Peacebuilding (AP) is hiring a part-time admin support officer. The role will be to assist in accounting and management of financial administration activities. The selected candidate will have to carry out the following activities: ● Maintaining general accounting and related records, ● Reconciliations and payments, ● Retrieval, verification, archiving and printing of accounting and project support documents, ● Preparation of annual and project financial reports, ● Support in the financial management of projects, including on compliance issues. Required skills: At least 3 years of work experience in the accounting and finance sector within the non profit sector, Degree in economics or similar disciplines (high school graduates will also be taken into consideration provided they meet the other requirements), Experience in ordinary accounting management, Experience in project reporting, Excellent knowledge of the Italian language, Excellent knowledge of the English language, Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Good knowledge of management and accounting programs. The candidate must further demonstrate: the ability to work in a multicultural environment; punctuality, precision, sense of responsibility and confidentiality; organisation skills, be able to work in a team and independently; proactivity, practical sense and problem-solving attitude. AP offers a part-time 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension of the duration of the contract and/or contractual progress). The remuneration offered will be based on the experience of the selected candidate.
