The People Insights Specialist role offers a fantastic opportunity to work and support HR functions via data download reports. You will have opportunities to work with HR and Business stakeholders across the Organization.Incumbents with a track record of successfully managing complicated data, including analyzing massive data files from numerous data sources.As we prepare and aim to integrate with Shell’s long term business strategy and vision, this role has been created to deliver Data Driven Insights aligning with the Reporting Strategy off moving from Point B to Point C, through the delivery and maintenance of data download reports. What’s the role?The role will report into the Team Lead in People Insights Operations with no budget or line responsibility. The incumbent must have a sharp eye and understanding of HR, Business and data and processes. The incumbent must have good collaboration and interpersonal skills to adapt to a virtual, multi-cultural, multi-locational team based in various SBO locations. As Data Insights Specialist, you’re expected to have significant experience in Shell People, Workday, and other HR systems. Knowledge of HR processes, tools & technology including good stakeholder management experience will be an added advantage to this role. More specifically your role will include:Being key focal in downloading data requests for the use of reporting needs.Actively works towards finding permanent solutions for data issues in the system by collaborating with relevant Ops and technical teams.Deliver all process related ad hoc or periodic reports requested via Salesforce and advising stakeholders on self-service reports.Assisting team in producing bespoke and accurate data packs which may involve complex analysis and visualization of dataBe able to generate data in an accurate, timely, clear, and concise mannerWork closely with the other team members to ensure data issues are regularly raised and updates sharedAgile in picking up data reporting needs and delivers as per agreed timelines and SLAsShare best practices to enable and encourage work out loud culture and contributing to capability building journey for People Insights OperationsYou will be an important member of the People Insights Operations team and must have the ability to view data through the eyes of the business/ function ensuring reports requested via Salesforce are fit for purpose, timely and accurate.What we need from you?Enough familiarity on core HR process and systems.Support the People Insights Operations team in delivering reports.
