Here, you'll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.Sales & Marketing Director – Endobariatrics EMEALocation: Milan, Madrid, London, Paris, DüsseldorfAbout the Role:In rapidly growing adjacent markets and emerging therapies, this role plans, drives, and accelerates the execution of the Endobariatrics growth strategy. It aligns with core business objectives in Endoscopy to contribute to the overall growth of the Endoscopy division. The position includes accountability of the control and management of the Endobariatrics sales P&L.and of the Endobariatrics Strategy. As a leader of a center-led organization, strong collaboration and influencing with the different stakeholders, including the global Endobariatrics team and Endoscopy local leadership within the organization, will be key to the success of this role.The EMEA Endobariatrics Marketing team, including Market Development & Field Education, will report to this positionThe position reports to VP and General Manager Endoscopy EMEA and is part of the New Endoscopy leadership team.Key responsibilities:Lead Commercial Execution of Endobariatrics across EMEABusiness Objectives and StrategyAchieve short-term and mid-term business objectives by collaborating with EMEA sales and marketing leadership, the strategy and commercial excellence team, and cross-functional team members.Use personal customer insight and field sales feedback to help identify and build effective commercial strategies and tactics to win against competitors and new entrants into the market.Support solutions for customers beyond the product to lead to multiyear commitments.Identify strategic opportunities and anticipate potential threats to the business.Develop and execute plans, allocate resources effectively, set standards, and monitor sales and marketing efforts to meet overall revenue and profit targets.Marketing Design and enforce Direct to Patient (DTP) and Direct To Refer (DTR) strategic maps and associated tactics. Ensure strong collaboration with Omnichannel, to spread messages faster and target more people as well as have the appropriate post event follow up happens with participating physicians. Market DevelopmentWork closely with country Sales and Marketing Management teams to devise tactics and strategies that enhance productivity and profitability in high-potential regions, using personal customer insight and field sales feedback.Lead the EMEA Endobariatrics marketing team on the strategic direction of the business, driving strategy and ensuring execution of the marketing messages and tools.Collaborate with EMEA and country leadership to develop a fully detailed country business strategy to expand Endobariatrics business through clinical sales execution.Work closely and foster ongoing communication with the Global Endobariatrics organization to ensure alignment, represent EMEA market dynamics, influence global decisions. and leverage global resources and strategies. Partner with medical affairs to optimize reimbursement strategy and market access?To shape the clinical strategy of the division, the topics to examine and the KOLs and centers that can act as advisors and also get involved in such studies,Product and Training DevelopmentProvide the material necessary for the right product positioning and the right content to be set. Ensure effective certification and appropriate training processes rolled out by the Learning & Development team to ensure the appropriate Endobariatrics products and procedural knowledge.Advance and expand the already existing internal sales training program to a level that helps drive clinical selling in the field, with the aim of increasing share in existing accounts and opening new accounts.Lead new product introduction: prepare local markets for new Endobariatrics product launches and any accessory products.Maintain productivity by working closely with country BUMs, Cluster Development Manager, and marketing, supporting growth productively.Lead Customer educational programsSupport the development or improvement of our educational and training program for physicians and hospital staff specific to the Endobariatrics products to approach all customer segment and engage high tier KOLs and provide input on potential enhancements of existing programs, Ensure Marketing EHQ develop adequate programs and is responsible for therapy adoption of the physicians. Work strategically with Learning & Development team, marketing, medical affairs and global team to evolve proctoring and training centers and align structure with business needs. Ensure consistency of branding & communication at all internal & external customer eventsDevelop a strong KOL network (independently and / or with the support of local BUMs, Business Development Manager and marketing). Get action plans in place for selected KOL and key influencers, both implanters and referral KOLsPeople DevelopmentLead and cultivate a high-performing EHQ marketing team (including Market Development, Field Education, and Marketing) with a focus on increasing market penetration and developing referral networks.Key Requirements:Educational Background: MSc/MBA business, marketing, or a relevant medical field is preferred.Sales & Marketing Experience: Over ten years of experience in sales and marketing within the medical devices industry. Experience in Endoscopy is a key success factor, Endobariatrics expertise is a plus.Global Experience: Upstream marketing experience working and influencing the division at the global level. Experience in a complex matrix environment and centre led organization. Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.Network: Proven ability to influence Key Opinion Leaders.Strategic thinking: Excellent business acumen and strategic formulation skills. Understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies and customer needsAnalytical Abilities: Demonstrated expertise in market analysis, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.Competencies and behaviors:Strategic Leadership: Exhibits versatile leadership with the ability to inspire and guide teams through complex challenges.
