Your task as a product manager is to increase the company's success withinour SIMATIC product lines in coordination with the other departments.
Thespectrum of your activities ranges from the definition of product innovationsto the strategic aspects for the management of the existing portfolio.
You will lead a team of product managers for HMI and IPC and coordinate theactivities and synergies with the SCADA team whose coordinator will be underyour responsibility, developing sustainable strategies in order to build on thesuccess of the assigned business in agreement with the regional strategy andHQ.
What are your responsibilities
Develop, for the assigned business, the Italian product strategy and beresponsible for a long-term roadmap for the product/system lifecycle, whichensures the commercial success into the region, in agreement with HQdirectives.
Sales and profit and loss responsibility for theassigned portfolio
Definition, monitoring of the company relevant KPIsand control of the measures to achieve the objectives set, in coordination withHQ and local sales
Definition and alignment of the vision, strategy androadmap, in order to establish the company as a global supplier
Create and present visionary innovations (occasionallyin front of investors or analysts), strategic decision proposals, as well asthe calculation of business cases
You will be responsible for strategic partnerships andlead necessary contract negotiations
You will represent the company with regard tostrategic customers, the press and analysts
Lead a product management team in which you motivateand achieve steady improvements in your area
Identification and promotion of high potentials andtalents
Who are we looking for
At least 8 years of experience in the fieldof HMI,IPC or SCADA technology, or product management
At least 5 years of leadership experience managingpeople
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Automation, /Software,Electronics Engineering or Superior Technical Diploma
Great people skills paired with a high level ofassertiveness
Attitude for customer relationship management andability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and peerbusiness units.
Available for frequent short business trips onnational and sometimes also international level.
Very good communication skills in the Italian andEnglish languages in order to communicate with management and senior managementas well as with employees and colleagues
Strong analytical, strategic and coordinating skills
You are a leader and an entrepreneur that peoplewillingly follow
High level motivational skills so that you can also managevirtual teams
Soundknowledge and understanding of business and technology
