Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Parma Company Overview: Gardner Denver, as part of the Ingersoll Rand Group, develops, produces, and distributes a range of products sold worldwide: compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps. We also provide after-sales service to meet various needs. Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate, organize, and supervise all methods of the production process and engineering activities that enable production and supply chain according to lean principles. This includes supporting engineering, new product launch processes, and continuous improvement activities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the production process to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plants that enhance operational competitiveness. Responsibilities: Continuous improvement of standard product manufacturing processes. Improving workshop productivity and promoting a controlled reduction in expenditure. Working with lean principles and enhancing the culture in the plant with a problem-solving approach. Identifying and supporting the best layout for production processes. Introducing new products into production with new standard work and operator training. Developing and implementing recommendations to improve plant efficiency and profitability. Taking a long-term view of process equipment. Ensuring all equipment meets safety standards. Essential Requirements: Two to three years of experience in manufacturing. Excellent knowledge of the English language. Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Knowledge of production engineering. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
