Product Specialist, Nephro Bone - Puglia

In this role you will directly report to the District Manager and will:
- Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory Plan Of Action (POA) and key account plans;
- Evaluate progress vs. monthly plan and implement corrections liaising with manager;
- Contribute to Cluster Teams, collaborating with Medical Affairs, Key Account Manager, etc.
on key account plan objectives and responsibilities;
- Engage with peers and District Manager to learn best practices;
- Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen model and platforms to satisfy customer and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate;
- Identify and gather competitive information;
- Follow through on customer commitments and requests in time;
- Report customer activity in the CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up-to-date;
- Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen model and platforms to satisfy customer and Amgen needs;
- Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities;
- Seek advise and assistance to arrange activities;
- Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs.
Additional accountabilities for this role are:
- Maximize Amgen's products;
- Achieve sales targets;
- Deliver key messages;
- Collaborate with manager to implement agreed POA in line with marketing strategy;
- Identify and establish high quality customer relationships and internal collaboration;
- In-depth knowledge of the product(s), therapeutic area, market, stakeholders and competitors;
- Work within agreed budgets;
- Live the Amgen Values and operate in compliance with Amgen rules.

What we expect of you

- 5+ years minimum of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job in specialty;
- Experience in nephro bone - therapeutic area is required;
- Rigorous Planning & Execution;
- Ability to work in a matrix organization;
- Understanding of local Access dynamic;
- Knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment;
- Some experience with information systems (CRM databases and MS Office);
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication;
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life science or (bio)medical sciences;
- Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles;
- Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels;
- Exposure to project management principles;
- Experience in cardio therapeutic area.
