My client is a rapidly growing software and hardware business in the Telco space with over 5000 employees globally. The client sells solutions to Service Providers across 5G O-Ran, Network Security, IoT, converged core, small cells, private networks, messaging and many other areas.
They have successfully sold their new cloud-based BSS stack (which includes real-time billing and online charging suitable for 5G / IoT use cases) to a major Service Provider in Europe and they are looking for a BSS sales expert to help them take that solution to other clients in EMEA.
The role is sales overlay in nature in that the person would leverage my client's substantial sales teams in the region, but once the sales opportunity had been identified they would effectively run with it. That said the person would be expected to engage with industry organisations such as the TM Forum and work with marketing to develop their presence in the space and creat leads.
The client is looking for a senior salesperson with strong knowledge of the BSS market, solutions, and ecosystem who can build up this business unit in EMEA. As stated above management of people is indirect and this person will need to be comfortable being hands-on with clients and organizing internal resources to close deals.
The role could be based anywhere in Europe (the person must have a UK or EU passport).
The package is flexible for the right person given this is a key role within the organisation. Please ignore salaries mentioned on the job board.
