**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As a Field Sales and Project Manager you are directly involved in the management of our customers’ fleet of heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines and generators.
In coordination with the relevant internal Siemens Energy (SE) team members, you steer the development of solutions and offers for servicing, upgrading, and modernizing customers’ rotating equipment, handling the communication with them, and ensuring the offer meet their needs and expectations as much as technically possible while maintaining profitable margins.
Your will also be operational responsible for the on-shore execution of the projects managing project timelines, budgets, customer happiness and technical requirements.
Your customers will be the main power generation utilities and independent power producers in Southern Europe, mainly in Italy.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients, leading the entire sales process from lead generation to deal close phase.
- strategies offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to develop effective and differentiated strategies & tactics to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensure accuracy of CRM system and provide regular updates to the management team.
- Analyze customer’s requirements and RFQs to clearly understand objectives, scope, timelines, negotiation points and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, field service, hub sales, operations, EQHS, and finance, to gather vital Information and develop strong proposals.
- Develop strategies and tactics for negotiating contract terms, pricing, and other relevant aspects to achieve mutually helpful agreements. Engage in consultation with customers to address concerns, overcome objections, and find common ground to reach favorable outcomes.
- Run projects and own the execution of outages including HSE, technical scope, budget, timeline and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the contract to adequately integrate the predefined scope, ensuring detailed execution without surprises. Define and put in please and adequate claim strategy to protect the project result from unexpected events.
**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Have proven experience in gas/steam turbine and generator services in sales and project management
- Knowledge and experience of the power generation market.
- Communicate technical information effectively in Italian and English (German preferred), with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit strong leadership and the ability to work with diverse, international teams.
- Handle multiple tasks and projects under tight time frame while handling customer pressure.
- Have good project management skills and a structured approach to work, ensuring all project aspects are accounted for.
- Be focused, organized, open to feedback, and able to collaborate and innovate within a team.
- Teamwork ability, strong collaborative attitude aligning opportunities and sales/pricing strategies with colleagues on the team.
- Creative thinking to develop innovative Solutions and approaches.

You will join the Gas Services Sales Central team for SWE. Our division provides low emission power generation products, solutions and services for a growing energy demand that requires decarbonization solutions through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
