**Product Specialist**:

Location: Europe, with a preference for: Italy (Vittuone/Milan) and Spain (Madrid). The role will report to the Product Manager of People Protection DIN Rail Devices, Global Product Group Energy Distribution, Division ELSB, Electrification.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Managing line protection devices from both a technical and a business perspective, establishing an international network, and representing the voice of the customer within our organization
- Performing in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB
- Translating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process
- Acting as interface between global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etc
- Taking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future
- Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing
- Managing the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline
- Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken
- Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution
- 5 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes
- Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profile
