IT- Oncology Communication Manager

**Job details**:
As part of our team and our rapidly growing Oncology business unit, you will be responsible for the product communication of our highly innovative pipeline and in this position, you will be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will shape your area of responsibility, bring a fresh perspective and develop new approaches to communications. The position reports head of BU oncology.

**Your area of responsibility**:

- Conception, implementation and further development of effective and targeted oncology product communication campaigns and measures for external target groups - in close collaboration with the Marketing, Medical and Market Access teams.
- Ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's brand guidelines by EU and local corporate communication teams.
- Ongoing identification and development of topics and occasions for communication on our oncology products and innovative pipeline.
- Conception and implementation of press relations for specialist and public media, organization of press events, drafting and coordination of press releases.
- Briefing and managing external agencies, partners and service providers.
- Development and implementation of topics and measures for various communication channels (print, digital) always in alignment with the European indication defined by the CC Department.
- Development and implementation of internal communication activities along a milestone plan and contact person for internal stakeholders on communication content, always in alignment with the local CC Department.
- Establishing and expanding a resilient network with specialist and lay media.
- Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies for the Oncology Business Division, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Be part of a cross-functional team and alliance activities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors' oncology communication strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure the seamless integration of product communication efforts with other organizational initiatives.
- Development and maintenance of oncology communication materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's brand guidelines.

**Professional requirements**:

- At least 6-8 years of professional experience in healthcare communications (pharma, PR agency with a focus on pharma)
- Experience in oncology is desirable
- Preferably experience in the specific communication environment characteristic for the pharmaceutical industry
- Completed university degree in the field of communications/PR/public affairs or natural sciences
- Strong consultancy skills
- High level (business fluent) of written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong writing skills for all relevant text forms and required tonalities.
- Experience with external stakeholders, incl. media representatives
