**Organizational Setting**
The Joint Centre for Zoonoses and Antimicrobial Resistance (CJWZ) leads and coordinates FAO's priority programme (PPA) actions to promote the One Health (OH) approach as well as through the coordinated action with the Quadripartite (FAO, the United Nations Environment Programme - UNEP), the World Health Organization - WHO) and the World Organisation for Animal Health - WOAH) at global, regional and country levels. The Quadripartite One Health Joint Plan of Action (OH JPA) frames the joint ambition.

FAO's role is to strengthen and support better performing national and international integrated OH systems for human, animal and plant health. FAO, together with the Quadripartite, provides technical and programming support through improved pest and disease prevention, early warning and management of national and global health risks, including antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and environmental health, for optimal outcomes for production and global health security. FAO's OH programme is coordinated by CJWZ, and together with the Animal Production and Health Division (NSA) and the Office for Emergencies and Resilience (OER), works across FAO programmes and Divisions, and through decentralized offices.

FAO's work on AMR is framed and guided by the FAO's Action Plan on AMR 2021-2025 and the Quadripartite Strategic framework for collaboration on AMR and various projects, mechanisms, and initiatives within it like the AMR Multi-Partner Trust Fund, the Global Leaders Group on AMR and the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform.

Established by the Quadripartite as part of the global governance structures on AMR alongside the Global Leader's Group on AMR and the Independent Panel on Evidence for Action against Antimicrobial Resistance, the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform aims to be an inclusive, international forum that brings stakeholders across sectors and disciplines for a collective dialogue and actions against AMR at all levels. Supported and facilitated by the Quadripartite, the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform's Coordinating Team will be hosted by FAO. The Platform Coordinator will ensure the overall coordination and daily oversight of the Platform's activities, in line with the Platform's Terms of Reference and Operational Rules, as well as set objectives, targets, and workplans. The Platform Coordinator will be seating in the CJWZ and work in a cross-cutting way with the FAO headquarters technical divisions and Decentralized Offices, as well as with the Quadripartite partners through the Quadripartite Joint Secretariat on AMR (QJS-AMR).

The position is located in CJWZ at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.

**Reporting Lines**
The Programme Officer (Antimicrobial Resistance Partnership Platform) reports to the Senior Animal Health Officer in the CJWZ, under the overall policy, technical guidance and operational supervision of the Chief, CJWZ/FAO Chief Veterinary Officer.
