For our client, an important center of excellence in the pre-clinical testing for life sciences, we are looking for a:
**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES REPRESENTATIVE**:
**Main responsibilities**:
The person, reporting directly to the company's CEO, and with a specific background in _IN VITRO _pharmacology testing, will be responsible for implementing the company's brand awareness and developing the customer portfolio, building and developing strong and long-term relationships with main industry KOLs:
**Main responsibilities**:

- Increase the brand value and brand awareness of the Company by maintaining and developing long-term good relationships with customers and partners.
- Grow Company’s customer base in agreement with the priorities settled by the CEO in term of geography and industry.
- Achieve quarterly and yearly revenue targets set by the CEO.
- Ensure cost control and strategic use of budget related activities within the scope of the role.

**Business Development activities**:

- Identification, planning, execution of sales activities for customers mainly in Europe but also in other regions.
- Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing partners and act as main contact with key customers.
- Analyze customer and market data and suggest new business opportunities and innovative solutions based on the Company’s scientific expertise.
- Coordinate information (pricing, timing, etc.) required for quotation with the Company's internal and external partners.
- Continuous update of the CRM system.
- Report and evaluate sales activities and results with CEO.
- Together with CEO plan and organize scientific events aimed at developing the customer base and service portfolio offered by the Company.

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree in Life Sciences, preferably PhD in Biotechnology and/or Chemistry and/or Pharmacy.
- 3-5 years of experience in scientific sales within the pharma/medical devices/cosmetic industry with proven and acknowledgeable results.
- Experience from the _in vitro_ toxicology and pharmacology testing and 3D models are meritorious.
- Understanding budgeting and financial targets.
- Network experience from 3R and non-animal initiatives.
- Knowledge from industry specifics or/and regulatory standards.
- Fluent in English and Italian. French and German are appreciated.
