As Plant and Module (P&M) Application Engineering Manager you will lead a team of Application Engineers in charge of preparing technical offers and cost estimations for P&M solutions, covering a broad scope from the early stages of project development (Feasibility to FEED studies) to firm and complete EPC proposals. You will also be responsible for the technical feasibility of the selected scope and the cost estimation accuracy.
- Interfacing with P&M Proposal Managers and supporting Sales/Growth Areas Teams to develop P&M business opportunities enabling and maintaining a robust pipeline of projects.
- Developing offerings and contributing to position Baker Hughes winning propositions, evaluating risks and profitability associated with the deal and enabling executive management decisions
- Assigning resources, ensuring Workload Balance, dealing prioritization, supporting the Technical Proposal Manager on P&M deals and appropriate support to Equipment AEs whenever the offering includes extended scope, approving technical packages and cost estimation prepared by Application Engineers
- Acting as a facilitator and providing guidance to P&M AEs in solving matters related to proposal preparations requiring involvement of multiple functions/teams (ENG, OTR, SOU, Equipment AEs, Comops...)
- Developing tailored technical and professional growth paths for the AEs, leveraging trainings, networking, on the job coaching, mentorship and any other means as necessary
- Contributing to develop P&M ecosystem by supporting process and tools initiatives in the areas of opportunities tracking and forecasting, workload management and prioritization, EPC cost engineering and QMS maintenance

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Be able to balance customer’s needs with project profitability
- Have professional experience in a project-oriented organization
- Have proven and meaningful experience in customer facing technical roles and team management
- Be experienced with complex and multidisciplinary projects and able to integrate several different inputs; EPC projects expertise, familiar with P&M environment and organizations
- Be fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Be able to travel 20% of the time
- Have solid networking and influencing skills
- Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects.
- Have established project management and planning skills.
- Have influencing oral and written communication skills.
