- Tesla develops high-performance electric vehicles and electric powertrain technology. Tesla's Mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. Electric cars are only as clean as the grids that charge them. Using the same battery technology, Tesla’s Energy Products address the increasing need for flexibility in the electricity system, with intelligent stationary storage battery systems and renewable generation. The suite of battery systems developed by Tesla performs a variety of high value functions for utilities, businesses, and residential customers, and the fast-growing team is adding top team members for engineering, business and sales.
- As a Powerwall sales intern, you will work directly with the EMEA team responsible for bringing our home battery Powerwall to market. Specifically, you will work closely with the Italian sales team, whilst supporting the other regions as well. Strong passion for renewable energy, energy storage and performing both high-level and detailed market and competitive analysis is a must. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, members of our team display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology and market landscape.

What You’ll Do
- Support identification, vetting, and onboarding of Tesla Powerwall Certified Installers
- Take direct contact with business partners and customers
- Get to know the sales channels and structures of the PV and storage market
- Designing and implementing business processes
- Research and analysis of markets and competitive products
- Get experience in negotiating contract terms for different types of commercial contracts
- Be responsible for planning several events for business partners
- Review Tesla partners’ social media content, marketing assets, and event activities for approval

What You’ll Bring
- Pursuing a degree related to Management Engineering, Business, Economics and/or Energy Engineering
- Must be enrolled in higher education throughout the entire internship, no exceptions
- A deep passion for increasing renewable energy use
- An intense desire to be on leading edge of market and technology
- Interest in sales
- Familiarity with MS suiteStrong team-player
- Self-motivated & passionate with the desire to get things done
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, both oral and written
- C1/C2 level in both Italian and English
