Director, Account Management

The Director - Account Management is a key role in our Sales Organization as we continue to build on our success in the local markets. The account director is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving profitability opportunities with key customer.

The scope of the role includes providing value to customers through Mastercard solutions and thought leadership consultation as well as via leveraging cross functional project teams, systems and services.

Responsible for setting sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with geography strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume, and revenue growth.

Leads and manages existing customer relationships and works to identify opportunities and customer needs.

Partners with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support. Responsible for pipeline management at the account level.

Your role:

- Become the focal point of reference for the newly created Payment Division

of one of the main European partner of Mastercard in Europe
- Be responsible for further develop our success by developing the

relationship and sell the wide range of products and services provided by

Mastercard
- Identify and realize New Flows business opportunities in the countries

where the partner is present (Commercial POS and B2B, XBS, New Rails

payments, etc.)
- Realise local targets deliveries (Achieve Local P&L targets, increase

services penetration through Cash conversions, Inspire and stimulate

Marketing & Communication opportunities)
- Identify key stakeholders from the customers and leverage internal

resources to achieve their business goals and objectives set by the clients

All about you:

- Demonstrated success in customer/sales roles, with specific and

demonstrable experience in sales/negotiations/contract management
- Experience and proven track record in account management
- Comprehensive experience executing and managing sales strategies
- Excellent financial acumen, revenue management and experience working

with P&L
- Strong influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution experience
- Strong track record in commercial and consumer card business
- Outstanding communication skills from a written, verbal and presentation

perspective
- Solid experience of consultative sales and relationship management

experience within the financial services or payments industry sectors
- Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities
- Self-starter, independent operator and highly proactive
- Fluent in both Italian and English
