**About the position**:
Field Sales will report to the Area Business Manager CASE, Rubber & Plastic Additives and will be responsible for the sales area as well as following the development of new customers and relations with existing customers, mainly for the North - East Italy area.

The CASE, Plastic & Rubber business area manages building materials, paints and varnishes in the industrial sector, cement mortars and adhesives for the building sector and additives for the plastic and rubber sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sales volumes
- Turnover
- of active customers in the area
- Product mix' per customer/zone
- Keeping the economic/financial situation of his/her customers under control
- Maintain a constant exchange of information with the customer service department - CSR
- Seeking new customers
- Collaborate with product managers to expand their knowledge of the market and the products used by their customers in terms of quantities, prices and competition

**Duties & Tasks**
- Visits customers in his/her area independently or jointly with the Sales Manager, Group Product Manager, Product Manager
- Develops the number of customers and increases, in terms of sales and promotion, the number of products per customer
- Contributes to drawing up the Annual Sales Plan (Budget)
- Uses CRM-Customer Relationship Management in all its functions
- Carries out proper customer segmentation according to company criteria
- In terms of training: attends sales and company, sector and product meetings and participates in customer seminars and trade fairs.

**Requested Skills and Experience**
- Chemical/scientific education (degrees in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, etc.).
- Knowledge of specific industrial markets and raw materials
- Technical/commercial experience in the distribution of industrial and speciality chemicals (especially paints, varnishes and building materials in the industrial sector)
- Fluent English (written and spoken) - Level (B2-C1)
- Considerable interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to guide the customer in the choice of the most suitable product
- Strong orientation towards achieving results
- Operational autonomy, excellent planning and organisational skills, ability to work by priority
- Entrepreneurship in managing one's own area
- Strong motivation, willingness to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mind and ability to work in both a local and international context
- Willingness to travel - 50%
