**HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, ITALY, PORTUGAL AND GREECE**:
**Main responsibilities**:
The **Human Resources Manager** is responsible for **delivering quality HR programs and services** to the CHEP Italian, Portuguese and Greek businesses. The position holder is responsible for **providing strategic and operational services and advice** across all facets of HR including workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, salary review, engagement, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, recognition, talent management, and learning & development.

**Major/Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide responsive support and advice to managers on policies, programs, and processes
- Engage with the business on workforce planning and development including talent management and succession planning
- Partner with the business to develop and implement people and organizational solutions to influence the culture and performance of the business
- Coach and support managers to develop their teams through capability uplift and engagement
- As a member of the Business Unit leadership team, identify strategies to address people-related issues/needs
- Oversee the execution of annual processes including Optimising Performance, Salary Review, and Pulse survey and actions
- Lead the continuous improvement and enhancement of HR services to improve outcomes for the business and ensure compliance
- Partner with the HR Director, HR Shares Services Lead, and Country Leadership team to align global HR service delivery to local business needs and priorities
- Partner with Centres of Expertise (COE) to support Reward and Talent & Learning initiatives with managers and employees
- Lead and manage team members to deliver results and develop in role (where applicable)
- Manage Health & Safety Employee requirements (according to Italian law)

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum: Master’s degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in business or related discipline
- 5+ years of related experience in Human Resources
- Experience with HR systems, Workday preferable
- Demonstrated leadership experience

- In-depth knowledge of HR solutions and programs
- Ability to work comfortably autonomously

- Demonstrated knowledge about local employment and social laws; ability to translate this in a comprehensive way to others
