The role

We are hiring a Ocean Operations Manager to strengthen operational performance across Italy. You will manage end to end freight execution, resolve exceptions, support the team on quality and data accuracy, and act as a key escalation point for partners and clients.

What We Are Looking For

- Fluent Italian and English
- Apprenticeship or BA or BS in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business
- 3+ years in freight forwarding or ocean freight operations
- Hands-on experience working in Italy
- Strong communication, structured thinking, and problem solving
- Ability to manage high workloads in a fast paced environment

- Salary range: 35.000 to 48.000 euros per year including a 10 percent annual bonus

Your Day to Day

- Ensure shipments move on time and handle exceptions
- Coordinate with carriers, trucking partners, warehouses, and customs
- Support the team on KPIs, data accuracy, and operational quality
- Improve procedures to increase efficiency
- Lead operational onboarding for new clients
