Job Summary:

The Satellite Verification Manager will be responsible for leading the verification and validation of small satellites, ensuring timely implementation of all relevant activities, and contributing to the preparation of design, development, and verification plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the verification and validation of small satellites, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of verification and validation activities, ensuring timely completion.
  • Contribute to the preparation of design, development, and verification plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Develop and manage model philosophy and hardware matrices, ensuring effective verification and validation processes.
  • Manage the requirement specification process, from customer to equipment level, ensuring accurate and complete requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition of verification methods and stages, ensuring effective testing and validation.
  • Support satellite verification and assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and execute system and acceptance tests with customers, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Evaluate, log, and document test results, identifying and addressing deviations.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, and verification control.
  • Experience in satellite verification, including participation in AIT campaigns.
  • Excellent sense of responsibility, with 5+ years of hands-on working experience.
  • Structured hands-on work approach, with high self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education, plus relevant proven work experience in industry.

Desirable Skills:

  • Requirements management tools (e.g., Doors).
  • Model-Based System Engineering.
  • Concurrent engineering tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
  • Italian language.
