We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Healthcare Leader to join our team at Amgen. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated national value, access, and policy/advocacy strategies that drive business growth and deliver value to patients.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearJob DescriptionThis is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in healthcare strategy, payer engagement, and product commercialization to make a meaningful impact on the lives of millions of patients worldwide. As a Strategic Healthcare Leader, you will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute innovative pricing and contracting strategies, build and leverage Amgen's reputation as a credible thought leader, and partner effectively with commercial, medical, and functional colleagues to support Amgen's business and mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute integrated national value, access, and policy/advocacy strategies that drive business growth and deliver value to patients.
- Negotiate with government authorities to gain/maintain reimbursement for Amgen's products.
- Lead external engagement plans and serve as a senior spokesperson.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Doctorate degree or Master's degree with 8 years of directly related experience in healthcare strategy, payer engagement, or product commercialization.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage in productive debate and collaboration with senior leaders.
- Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a highly-matrixed environment.
- Able to conduct situation analysis of external environment and synthesize relevant information for business strategies and support development of country-specific strategic plans.
