As a Chief Engineer Operations Center Milan, you will be responsible for the maintenance of company assets, compliance with technical and legal obligations, and the maintenance and energy budgets for the hotels in your Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detects, consolidates, and analyses engineering needs and opportunities in the hotels under your responsibility and provides feedback to both the Operations Center and the Engineering Partner;
  • Ensures compliance with technical and legal obligations in the Operations Center buildings and facilities, HACCP, the prevention of occupational risks, customer safety, ecology, and the environment;
  • Together with the Hotel Manager and the Operations Center Director, acts as a Preventative Resource for activities that involve risk, ensuring the Occupational Health and Safety of all staff and coordinating as required with external companies in OHS matters;
  • Supervises the resolution of any technical or legal incidents;
  • Coordinates the teams in both the Operations Center and Business Units and provides instructions for carrying out the activities in the Preventative Maintenance Plan;
  • Supervises the implementation of company policies and projects in matters related to energy use;
  • Analyses and prioritizes Operations Center investment requests for the Risks AIP, collecting all the required authorizations according to MHI regulations;
  • Participates in the preparation of their department's budget according to the set guidelines;
  • Follows up on the defined budget, ensures compliance with it, and reports any deviations that may occur within the department to the Business Partner. Participates in the definition of the necessary corrective measures to minimize negative impacts and monitors them together with the Business Partner;
  • Ensures compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Procedures and Instructions.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree;
  • Strong previous experience in the hotel industry;
  • Both Italian and English professional knowledge;
  • Budgeting and reporting.
