Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Tetra Pak. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance services, as well as troubleshooting assistance over food equipment. You will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of packaging equipment and provide technical training to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in preparing customer sites for installation events and assemble machines.
  • Install, commission, and maintain filling machines and distribution equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and by phone.
  • Conduct production supervisor and operator training at customer sites.
  • Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers, including support and follow-up on customer concerns and problems.
  • Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues according to company processes.
  • Travel up to 90% of your working time to our customer sites.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PLC, electrical, and electronic systems in general.
  • Ability to repair machines onsite.
  • Experience with filling machines is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively on a weekly basis, more than 90% of your working time.
  • Native level of Italian and good command of English (writing/reporting skills are essential).
  • Driving license.
  • Good command of computer skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proven understanding of Customer Satisfaction and business vision.
  • Initiative and ability to work in a team.
  • Customer-oriented and result-oriented attitude.
