Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Tetra Pak Italiana. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance services, as well as troubleshooting assistance for food equipment. You will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of packaging equipment and provide technical training to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in preparing customer sites for installation events and assemble machines
  • Install, commission, and maintain equipment and installations of filling machines and distribution equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on-site and remotely
  • Conduct production supervisor and operator training at customer sites
  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers, including support and follow-up on customer concerns and problems
  • Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues according to company processes
  • Travel extensively to customer sites, up to 90% of working time
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in the field
  • 1-2 years of work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
  • 1-2 years of experience in PLC, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Ability to repair machines on-site
  • Experience with filling machines is an advantage
  • Native level of Italian and good command of English (writing/reporting skills are essential)
  • Driving license
  • Good command of computer skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Proven understanding of customer satisfaction and business vision
  • Initiative and ability to work in a team
  • Customer-oriented and result-oriented attitude
