About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Alstom Ferroviaria SpA. As a key member of our Services Signalling Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing technical support to maintenance activities on Trackside signalling products operated by our domestic and international customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site preventive/corrective maintenance, verifications, repair/settings;
  • Technical remote support providing instruction, troubleshooting and assistance to customers;
  • Plan, prepare and/or instruct external training programs as required, to deliver product knowledge in area of specialization;
  • Write technical reports, plan service stock materials, support bid team for service quotations;
  • Have strong EHS mindset in all situations to assure Alstom and Country safety standards.
  • Provide Customer feedback in order to improve products and meet Customer's needs;
  • Definition and implementation of Maintenance and technical assistance plans;
  • Provide support to Service organization in the definition of maintenance strategy in tenders and offers;
  • Cooperation with product engineering team in Return of Experiences, definition of maintainability requirements during the product's design phase, support for constant review/enhancement of maintenance manuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Technical High School Diploma in Mechatronic or Mechanical/Electrotechnical with experience;
  • Knowledge of electronic design principle and methodology;
  • Basic knowledge of the most common operating systems;
  • MS Office knowledge & Autocad proficiency;
  • Capability to interpret mechanics/electrics drawings and schemes;
  • Capability to use test tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc...);
  • Knowledge of railways signalling systems and principles will be a plus;
  • Drive License, necessary to drive company cars.
