Job Overview
Adami & Associati is a leading Japanese Sogo-Shosha seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our chemical department in Milano, Italy.
About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven sales professional with excellent communication skills and experience in the industrial sector, preferably in the chemical sector and/or in a Japanese company. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of previous sales experience and be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Fluency in other European languages, such as German, is desirable but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads, meet sales targets, negotiate deals, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research, seek out new sales opportunities through calling, visiting clients, networking, and social media.
- Prepare and send quotes and proposals, set up meetings with potential clients, and participate in exhibitions.
- Negotiate and close deals, handle complaints or objections, gather feedback from customers or prospects, and share with internal teams.
- Manage and optimize current business accounts, travel to various locations nationally and internationally as necessary.
- Correspond with suppliers and buyers, respond to inquiries, and perform certain import-export administrative tasks related to the role.
Key Skills and Experience
- 4-6 years of previous sales experience in the industrial sector, preferably in the chemical sector and/or in a Japanese company.
- Good negotiation and influencing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, maintaining CRM, and ability to build relationships with customers and business partners.
Type of Contract
The salary package will be commensurate with the actual experience and able to satisfy even the most qualified candidates. A competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum is expected for this role based on location and industry standards.
