Regional Sales Director for Chemical Analysis Division

Overview
As a Regional Sales Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success for the Chemical Analysis Division's Environmental & Process Monitoring business in South- and East Europe.
The region is a hub for industrial markets, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, environmental, process minerals, mining, coal, cement, and metals. With a strong focus on innovation, our business serves a wide range of customers across these industries.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with direct and indirect customers to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
- Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies for the region, collaborating closely with local Channel Managers
- Analyze competitors' strengths and vulnerabilities to inform sales tactics and drive results
- Employ creative approaches to close deals, driven by a 'must-win' mentality
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, advanced degrees preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
- 2+ years of experience as an indirect people and/or distribution manager
- Must have sold capital equipment
- Ability to travel 50%+ across the assigned territory
- Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry, with experience selling in those markets
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Prospect new business and possess a 'hunter' attitude
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000, reflecting the regional market conditions and the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
