About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team at Ferrero. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in production planning and scheduling.

Main Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Defining optimal production sequences for each line, taking into account production constraints and costs.
  • Ensuring planning feasibility from a packaging perspective and developing a replenishment plan for the short term, with a focus on stock level optimization.
  • Defining and monitoring long-term replenishment, as well as forecasting needs towards suppliers.
  • Defining the manpower needed for production lines under your responsibility.
  • Staying up-to-date on production factors that influence production output, such as CPK, constraints, and maintenance periods.
  • Managing the end-of-life cycle for followed finished goods and materials to minimize leftovers.
  • Monitoring and analyzing KPIs and results for product references, with the aim of developing actions and creating continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Management or Industrial Engineering and Economics.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English languages, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, combined with the ability to use Excel and other tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.
