This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Senior Manager, Systems (Pre-Sales) Engineering (SEM) for our Italy office. As a seasoned leader, you'll be responsible for driving pre-sales technical strategy, market expansion, and partner engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Growth & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a business plan for Italy, identifying growth opportunities in AI, Healthcare, Public Cloud, and Cyber Resilience.
    • Align with market trends and EU funding initiatives.
    • Partner with sales leadership to ensure revenue targets and strategic priorities are met.
  • Partner & Ecosystem Engagement:
    • Build and strengthen relationships across the partner and channel ecosystem to drive business growth.
    • Ensure partners act as an extension of Pure Storage, contributing to joint technical and sales initiatives.
    • Identify new channel opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to expand adoption of Pure solutions in Italy.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales engineers, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
    • Define specialist roles within the team, optimizing technical expertise for market success.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering leadership within the IT industry.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
  • Proven expertise in partner/channel management and ecosystem expansion.
  • Deep understanding of AI, Cloud, Security, and Cyber Resilience trends.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at executive and technical levels.
  • Native/bilingual Italian and business-proficient English.
  • Must be based in Milan or willing to relocate.
