About the Role

We are seeking an R&D Engineer Intern to join our team in Monselice, Italy. As an intern, you will be primarily engaged in research and development activities, focusing on dimensional measurements of power transformer conductors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out mechanical dimensional measurements of conductors, collecting measured values in tables/DBs.
  • Analyzing data using simple linear regression and/or machine learning algorithms.
  • Managing new measurements within the database containing previous results.
  • Identifying analytical descriptions from values and data analysis.
  • Supporting colleagues in coordinating suppliers and factories for sample collection.
  • Developing and implementing testing procedures for electrical design systems.
  • Developing and updating technical documentation, project reports, and technical articles based on measurement results.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's (or Bachelor's) degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • University students looking for a bachelor thesis internship in these fields of application.
  • Understanding of manufacturing electrical machines and/or numeric calculation exams (a plus).
  • Good use of Python programming (a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
