Job Overview

As a Warehouse Management System Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse management systems and overall warehouse control systems. This position involves collaborating with your team to provide technological support and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal performance of the Warehouse Management and overarching Warehouse Control Systems.
  • Oversee the functionality of systems and monitor the development of new features, including interfaces for WMS, WCS, and PLC.
  • Communicate user change requests to the relevant stakeholders in Sales and Operations.
  • Enhance operational excellence, quality, and efficiency by training end users on system functionalities.
  • Distribute and clarify release notes, ensuring users are informed and trained on new functionalities.
  • Ensure all systems are functioning correctly to provide the best service to stores and prevent business interruptions.
  • Manage incidents effectively, participating in incident reporting and resolution efforts as needed.
  • Uphold high-quality standards for all IT system-related procedures and ensure proper implementation.
  • Conduct training sessions for end users in new systems and functionalities.

Coordination and Training:

  • Align release schedules and system downtimes with key stakeholders, including management and sales teams.
  • Provide training for team leaders on new functionalities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of technology infrastructure at the distribution center level, including WMS and WCS.
  • Functional competencies in supporting technology and system-related operations.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to incident resolution.
  • Ability to quickly grasp system features and updates, along with effective knowledge transfer capabilities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset.
