Job Title: Junior Production Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Engineer to join our team at Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient production operations, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Process:

  • Post shift production and dispatches in SAP system.
  • Fulfill manpower requirements for smooth working of the shift.
  • Achieve shift wise production targets regarding both quality and quantity.
  • Write shift wise production report and mark attendance of the workers.
  • Ensure product losses are being controlled.
  • See lab results of product and instruct operators accordingly.
  • Follow instructions from Divisional Head given verbally or in writing.
  • Ensure operators are giving right information on log sheets.
  • Write shift performance report in logbook.
  • Ensure manufacturing materials and supplies are sufficiently drawn from stores in time.

Quality:

  • Coordinate with Shift Chemist to find in-process non-conformances.
  • Ensure different grades of product are kept separately.
  • Ensure weighing scales are in perfect working order.

Maintenance:

  • Check performance of process equipment.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of process equipment.
  • Ensure housekeeping of entire section.
  • Keep liaison with Shift Engineer of other divisions for shutdown and fully/partially operating the plant during load shedding.

Process Improvement:

  • Deliverables related to way to operate, continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Continues efforts on improving in ways of working.
  • Logical and analytical approach towards problem solving.
  • Study processes and bring improvement through technological advancement.

Safety:

  • Ensure safety of product, process equipment and workers during shift.
  • Ensure use of PPEs at all locations.
  • Ensure all technical works are performed with due work permit.
  • Deliver trainings on EHS and production processes.

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • B.Sc/B.E Engineering (Chemical) Experience preferably 01 year.
  • Good manufacturing literacy.
  • Knowledge about instrumentation and DCS/SLC operation.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Good Communicator/Presentor.
  • Good character (Ethics).
  • Good mentor.
  • Positive behavior with can do attitude.
  • Good motivator.
