Job Title: Junior Production Engineer

Job Summary:

The Junior Production Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production processes, maintaining high-quality products, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Process:

  • Post shift production and dispatches in SAP system.
  • Fulfill manpower requirements for smooth working of the shift.
  • Achieve shift-wise production targets regarding both quality and quantity.
  • Write shift-wise production report and mark attendance of the workers.
  • Ensure product losses are being controlled.
  • See the lab results of product and instruct the operators accordingly.
  • Follow instructions from the Divisional Head given verbally or in writing.
  • Ensure operators are giving right information on the log sheets.
  • Write shift performance report in the logbook.
  • Ensure manufacturing materials and supplies are sufficiently drawn from stores in time.

Quality:

  • Coordinate with Shift Chemist to find the in-process non-conformances.
  • Ensure different grades of the product are kept separately.
  • Ensure weighing scales are in perfect working order.

Maintenance:

  • Check the performance of process equipment's.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the process equipment.
  • Ensure housekeeping of the entire section.
  • Keep a liaison with the Shift Engineer of other divisions for shutdown and fully/partially operating the plant during load shedding.

Process Improvement:

  • Deliverables related to the way to operate, continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Continues efforts on improving in ways of working.
  • Logical and analytical approach towards problem solving.
  • Study processes and bring improvement through technological advancement.

Safety:

  • Ensure safety of product, process equipment and workers during shift.
  • Ensure use of PPEs at all locations.
  • Ensure all technical works are performed with due work permit.
  • Deliver trainings on EHS and production processes.

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • B.Sc/B.E Engineering (Chemical) Experience preferably 01 year.
  • Good manufacturing literacy.
  • Knowledge about instrumentation and DCS/SLC operation.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Good Communicator/Presentor.
  • Good character (Ethics).
  • Good mentor.
  • Positive behavior with can do attitude.
  • Good motivator.
