Public Sector Project Manager [Consulting]

Job Overview:

DXC Technology is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Consulting Practice in the Public Sector industry. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in co-creating innovative solutions and improving customer and employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive roadmaps for IT landscape development and evolution in the Public Sector, outlining current and desired customer environments;
  2. Collaborate with clients to align strategy, organization, operations, and processes to achieve growth ambitions and organizational objectives;
  3. Provide business domain solutions for the Public Sector;
  4. Facilitate workshops with clients and third parties to drive innovation and business solution formulation;
  5. Validate technical and functional documents;
  6. Communicate the value of technology in addressing key business processes in the Public Sector domain;
  7. Coach and support individual clients;
  8. Lead engagement teams on both client and back-office sides;
  9. Identify and manage project risks and assumptions, shaping program governance;
  10. Develop business cases, including ROI, for pre-sales opportunities;
  11. Design proposed solutions addressing client business issues and objectives using a combination of standardized and customized services.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics;
  2. +5 years of experience in Management Consulting, specifically in the Public Sector;
  3. Excellent relational skills;
  4. Strong analytical skills;
  5. Proactivity and ability to work in teams;
  6. Focus on goals;
  7. Attention to detail and commitment to quality;
  8. Italian mother tongue;
  9. Fluent English (oral and written).
