Regional Sales and Operations Planning Manager

Your Role
The Equipment, Technology, and Services division of Koch Engineered Solutions is in the process of establishing a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework. We are seeking a seasoned, motivated, and innovative professional who excels in guiding the S&OP process and can contribute to the development, implementation, and execution of a global S&OP strategy. Our Sales & Operating Plans are vital for managing our operations – influencing how we forecast and prepare for demand, optimizing our production capabilities, managing inventory levels globally, and aligning our most critical business strategies.
About Our Team
You will join a vibrant Sales and Operations Planning team that boasts a diverse array of expertise and backgrounds. This position will support regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. The successful candidate will report to the Global S&OP Director.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams and global product leaders to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Partner with regional operations, engineering, finance, and key stakeholders to formulate optimized supply plans that address global demand.
- Frame decisions with recommended actions and economic considerations regarding capacity optimization.
- Conduct scenario analyses, opportunity assessments, and provide decision support in supply strategies, market demand, asset planning, and supply chain network design.
- Utilize, maintain, and enhance current planning systems and knowledge frameworks to improve decision-making speed and effectiveness.
- Contribute to long-term capacity investment strategies.
- Coordinate and influence critical activities across sales, finance, logistics, operations, sourcing, and commercial leadership to develop a viable business plan for product lines within the region.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Demonstrated experience in S&OP, supply chain management, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, supply chain, management, business, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and organize multiple inputs and outputs.
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships and build trust with colleagues.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French or Italian is advantageous.
- Experience working with diverse teams and holding team members accountable.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of work time, primarily within Europe.
