The Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Driver Operations team in Italy. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational healthiness of Welcome Pickups in Italy. This includes monitoring key metrics, acquiring drivers, optimizing destination setup, and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high transfer volumes and low cancellation rates.
- Monitor driver performance and quality through KPIs and community feedback.
- Develop a deep understanding of the local driver labor market and legal landscape.
- Innovate and execute data-driven action plans for driver acquisition and retention.
- Optimize Welcome Destinations' setup to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate communication with driver communities and identify top performers.
- Work closely with the Head of Driver Operations to anticipate demand spikes and implement plans to ensure sufficient driver supply.
- Collaborate with the Expansion and Commercial teams to bring region-specific insights for business development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in operations, fleet management, ride sharing, last-mile logistics, or high-growth startups in Italy.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- High achiever with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Mandatory fluency in Italian.
- Analytical mind and out-of-the-box thinker.
- Friendly and upbeat personality.
- Digital native with fluency in web and digital technologies.
