About Welcome Pickups

Welcome Pickups is a leading provider of in-destination travel experiences. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational healthiness of our services in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize key metrics to ensure high-quality services and efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local driver labor market and legal landscape to identify issues and provide solutions.
  • Implement data-driven action plans for driver acquisition and retention.
  • Coordinate communication with driver communities and work closely with the Head of Driver Operations to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with the Expansion and Commercial teams to bring region-specific insights for business development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations, ideally in fleet management, ride sharing, last-mile logistics, and/or high-growth start-ups in Italy.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • High achiever with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
