About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our Fulfillment Centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
  • Analyse and implement changes to improve quality and productivity
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes and improve customer service
  • Monitor shift performance and implement actions to improve operational excellence
  • Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
A Day in the Life

As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our Fulfillment Centres, ensuring that it runs as efficiently as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.

About the Team

Our Customer Fulfilment team is the backbone of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is always looking for ways to improve and innovate. As an Area Manager, you will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our operations run smoothly.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience in people management and communication
  • Relevant experience in using data to influence business decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Italian
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
  • Experience working in another logistics environment
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite
