Role Overview:
The HR Technology Client Lead is tasked with managing the comprehensive technical framework for Alight's Global Payroll clientele. This role involves close collaboration with clients to identify their unique requirements within the agreed HR technology landscape, providing expert insights and support to enhance HR technology solutions that align with their strategic objectives and transformation initiatives. The HR Technology Client Lead will also keep abreast of Alight's product enhancements and industry best practices, proactively seeking opportunities for innovation and advancement within the client's technical framework. This position will support the Client Service Lead in addressing HR technology matters to elevate the client's perception of Alight as a trusted HR technology partner and enhance Alight's technical service delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end HR technology expertise for clients and provide best practice recommendations within the contracted technology framework.
- Oversee client technical design post-implementation, engaging necessary support roles as required, and lead discussions on Alight's standard model and global solution design.
- Facilitate client-specific assessments and communications regarding Alight's product upgrades, coordinating the enablement of optional features and advocating for increased client utilization of the contracted HR technology.
- Manage IT cross-client initiatives that require coordination at the account level.
- Ensure the technological integrity of client service delivery and serve as a secondary escalation point for critical technical issues.
- Identify and support opportunities that lead to technical change requests.
- Maintain custody and regular updates of client-specific technical design documentation.
- Manage requests for technical resources, including change requests and resource allocation increases.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the HR Technology Client Lead role should possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. They must effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders while actively listening to and understanding the specific needs of clients. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as collaboration with senior client stakeholders and various internal teams (Application Services, Products, Account Management, etc.) is crucial. Additionally, the candidate should have a robust understanding of Alight's standard product offerings (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, hrX, payroll engines, time solutions, etc.), including their features, capabilities, and integration best practices. A problem-solving mindset and strong coordination abilities are imperative.
