We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our team at SMARTENERGY Group AG. As a key member of our project development department, you will play a crucial role in the acquisition and management of PV projects, from site scouting to Ready to Build stage.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the development process up to RtB authorizations for PV projects, including large-scale PV, Renewable Energy Communities, Solar Rooftops, and energy storage systems.
- Collaborate with Business Development to conduct preliminary technical and environmental assessments for project acquisition.
- Define and track project development timelines, budgets, and cash flows, ensuring compliance with permitting, environmental, and construction requirements.
- Liaise with electrical network operators, managing web portals, and overseeing grid connection execution.
- Work closely with engineering and construction departments to ensure project deliverables.
- Manage communications, archives, and data exchange between competence centers and the Italian branch.
- Conduct initial feasibility and constraints screening activities, including GIS analysis.
- Provide back-office support for filing activities, documentation preparation, and general project development assistance.
- Demonstrable experience in developing, asset management, consultancy, or advisory of greenfield PV projects in Italy.
- Proven understanding of the Italian regulatory framework related to the energy sector, particularly the development of PV Plants, including environmental and licensing requirements.
- Knowledge of the Italian electricity system, including distributed generation regulations and utilities interconnection procedures.
- English proficiency written and oral.
