Job Summary

EF Education First is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Accommodation Coordinator to support the Accommodation department in delivering exceptional residence and homestay experiences for international students. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless accommodation arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with the school management team to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accommodation Arrangements: Confirm daily bookings, allocate accommodations, and ensure timely communication with students and host families.
  • Departmental Performance: Meet departmental KPIs set by management, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Host Family Quality: Ensure host family quality exceeds EF residence standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Student Support: Counsel and support students dealing with culture shock, liaise between students and host families, and handle student enquiries related to accommodation, welfare, and health & safety.
  • Global Collaboration: Liaise with EF offices worldwide regarding issues and enquiries related to accommodation, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with EF policy and accreditation requirements, maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider school team to ensure overall student satisfaction, sharing emergency on-call duties with other school staff.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English skills, with fluency in Italian.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: A flexible, hands-on approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Customer Focus: Highly motivated, energetic, and positive, with a customer service-oriented approach and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Sensitive to the needs of international students living away from home, with a deep understanding of cultural differences and nuances.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail, thoroughness, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Rome: Excellent knowledge of Rome, with a deep understanding of the city's culture, history, and attractions.
