Role Overview:

The Program V&V Manager will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Designing and developing validation environments and tools, including test benches and recording instruments.
  • Establishing validation protocols and criteria.
  • Ensuring traceability of requirements in accordance with the product Requirements Management Plan.
  • Conducting validation processes, generating validation results reports, and managing associated defect Change Requests.
  • Managing validation deliverables in line with the product Configuration Management Plan.

The role requires maintaining a strong collaboration with architects and designers throughout the entire V&V cycle and applying established processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Notify the Program Manager of any events that may affect V&V quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in integration and validation.
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar roles within safety-critical or mission-critical environments (such as railway, avionics, military, or equivalent).
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with electronic laboratory equipment for testing purposes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, and Python.
  • Understanding of regulations CENELEC EN50128, EN50129, EN50159.
  • Knowledge of protocols including FSFB2, NVFB2/3, IMP, SNMP, TFTP.
  • Experience with Change Request Management workflows and tools like ClearQuest.
  • Understanding of Requirements Engineering and Traceability.
  • Ability to author documentation in accordance with Alstom's documentation management processes.
