Reservations Team Leader - Italian Hospitality Collection

We are seeking a Reservations Team Leader for our prestigious hotel brand, known for its exceptional service and hospitality standards. This role will report directly to the General Manager and will play a crucial part in enhancing our guests' experiences through effective reservation management.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position includes:

  • Maximizing occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and overall revenue.
  • Ensuring quality assurance in line with brand standards and operational procedures.
  • Leading and supervising the reservations team, overseeing both direct and indirect bookings.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a supervisory or assistant role.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligibility to work in the EU or possession of an appropriate work visa.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a reservations or operations role within a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of additional languages, such as French or German.
  • Experience with Hilton systems, particularly OnQPM.

Leadership and Management Duties

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities by:

  • Fostering a positive work environment among team members.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Training and mentoring team members in their respective roles.
  • Recruiting new staff as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.

Reservation Management Responsibilities

The role also involves overseeing all reservation activities, including:

  • Maintaining the integrity of in-house reservation systems.
  • Assisting in the development of promotional programs and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of reservations.
  • Collaborating with the Revenue Department to identify new business opportunities.
