Soilmec SpA is seeking a Sales Area Manager to oversee direct and indirect sales within a designated geographical area, aiming to achieve area targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales management to define sales strategies and actions for the target market.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, coordinating with the Manager.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and evaluate commercial initiatives to boost turnover.
  • Directly manage the area of responsibility, ensuring the achievement of sales and margin targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current customers, monitoring their satisfaction through regular visits.
  • Identify new customers by leveraging various channels and implementing promotion and incentive actions.
  • Regularly review turnover status and collections, as well as the progress of commercial initiatives in the assigned area.
  • Monitor critical customer solvency situations and define overdraft limits up to assigned ceilings.
  • Research and develop new dealers in the assigned area.
  • Support the Manager in range planning, noting product development/modification needs in the assigned area.
  • Define and verify pricing policies in the assigned area.
  • Manage participation in trade shows featuring our products in the relevant area.
  • Draft post-trip reports and submit them to company management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, management, mechanical) or technical diploma.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the position in the industrial machinery and/or earthmoving sector.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts and usual international forms of payment is appreciated.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the relevant territory.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Mastery of the Office package.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze context and problem-solving.
