About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Engineer to join our team at Emerson Electric. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the Gas Distribution and Transmission industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Identify market requirements and develop strategies to drive growth of orders and profitability in designated accounts.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate business contracts with customers, including discount, price, and volume structures, within agreed delegation of authority.
  • Opportunity Management: Maintain a project opportunity list for assigned sales areas and ensure timely execution of committed contractual terms.
  • Market Intelligence and Reporting: Provide regular market trend analysis, competition strategies, and customer behavior insights to inform business decisions.
  • Product Promotion: Focus on promoting Emerson Natural Gas Solutions and driving sales growth in this area.
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering degree or comparable technical background.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in Italian and English languages (verbal, reading, and writing).
  • Travel Requirements: Willing to travel in the region up to 60% of the time.
