Your Challenges

At VELUX Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Operations team in Italy. As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the strategic development and management of our Customer Interaction Centre and After Sales Service, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers while driving operational excellence across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize customer service, operations support, and after-sales service, aligning with regional guidelines and market needs.
  • Lead and manage department heads, fostering high-performance teams and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and secure key performance indicators (KPIs) for the departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Budget estimation and follow-up, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Drive process optimization using best practices and customer-centricity, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Develop annual plans and goal-oriented reporting for the Operations area, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Stay updated on market trends, adjusting service offerings accordingly to meet customer needs.
  • Expand professional networks and contribute to international projects within the VELUX Group.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned leader with:

  • Experience in leading highly skilled teams, with a proven track record of delegation, development, and trust-building.
  • Strong empathy and integrity, combined with a deep business understanding.
  • A strong drive and ability to build valuable relationships across an international organization.
  • Experience in operations support, customer support, and after-sales service.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing teams (5+ years).
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and training others.
  • Experience in change management and process management.
  • Experience with standard IT solutions (ERP, CRM, analytic tools).
  • A genuine commercial understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • International project experience and a global mindset (preferred).
