About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager - Treasury to join our team at adidas Europe. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the accounting ledger in accordance with local GAAP, as well as preparing and delivering local tax reporting to the respective authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support general ledger activities managed by Global Business Service to ensure correctness of data
  • Provide day-to-day coaching and advising on new local regulations
  • Support local tax declarations and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations and legislation
  • Analyze the organization's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term cash flow position
  • Interface with Global Treasury on investment options, funding sources, and financial instruments
  • Provide senior management with accurate and timely updates to inform decision-making
  • Establish and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with internal and external business partners

Requirements:

  • Strong accounting and fiscal knowledge
  • Wide understanding of end-to-end processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Very good IT skills (e.g., Microsoft, SAP modules)
