POSITION OVERVIEW

New Guards Group is seeking a Production Development Intern to assist in the production workflow of the Shoes collection for the NGG brands. This role will report directly to the Production Manager and will involve oversight of all stages of production and progression of the Shoes collection.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and engage in production fittings, ensuring product quality and fit in collaboration with the product office and external partners.
  • Develop comprehensive production manuals for suppliers, including fitting observations and packaging specifications.
  • Conduct thorough and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of assigned orders.
  • Manage sample logistics between headquarters, storage facilities, and suppliers.
  • Input data into the ERP system, maintaining and updating production-related documentation.
  • Oversee pre-production samples, facilitating communication between headquarters and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the product development team and foster relationships with suppliers.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Product Development, Economics, or Management Engineering.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in the luxury fashion sector.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable team contributor.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Italian, with proficiency to be assessed during the selection process.
