About the Role

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled ERTMS System Engineer to join our OnBoard team. As a key member of our Project Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing system or subsystems architecture, defining and allocating requirements, evaluating design trade-offs, and balancing technical risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system documents, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Apply system engineering processes to ensure technical consistency and alignment with Project Engineering teams.
  • Ensure that the system technically fulfils the defined needs and enhancements, and that a proper system engineering approach is being followed.
  • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of the System Baselines, analyze and implement Change Requests.
  • Prepare and participate in Design Reviews.
  • Contribute to system configuration activities, to requirement management activities, and Data preparation for ERTMS and SCMT/SSC systems.
  • Ensure that the system follows standardization approach by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions.
  • Provide support to Projects external stakeholders and participate to the QCD estimation.
  • Understand and apply the TIS System Development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
