About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the rail industry. As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our signalling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze input documentation and customer requirements to define the functions, architecture, and interfaces of the signalling system.
  • Customize the Alstom Generic Solution to meet project needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Analyze and capture product application conditions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Configure the system, develop data preparation, and create relevant documentation to support system validation.
  • Deliver system application data and perform design testing to ensure system integrity.
  • Support on-site commissioning teams during system validation to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Apply Alstom standards and processes to ensure consistency and quality in system development.
  • Contribute to the improvement of sustainable and innovative transportation standards, driving the future of mobility.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering, preferably in mobility, transportation, telecommunications, computer engineering, or electronics.
  • Graduate or 2-3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Goal-oriented, problem-solving, and team-working approach.
  • Flexibility and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Basics of networks and communication protocols.
  • English language proficiency (minimum B2).
  • Interest in continuous learning and improvement of technical and behavioral skills in a dynamic and international environment.
  • Previous experience in railway, metro signalling, or complex and regulatory asset environments (railway, aerospace, defense) is a plus.
