Quality Management Systems Lead for Mechatronics

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quality Management System (QMS) Design Manager to oversee the establishment, management, and enhancement of our QMS specifications. You will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing internal evaluations of critical operational and safety processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage with internal stakeholders (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, etc.) to gather insights and translate them into effective QMS specifications.
- Develop, update, and maintain the QMS specifications, ensuring their successful implementation.
- Conduct audits on product quality processes to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the Safety and Compliance Team to align QMS specifications with safety management protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact and expert on QMS and operational quality matters.
- Assist in managing the scope, budget, schedule, and risks associated with QMS initiatives.
- Define quality metrics for products and support their implementation.
- Ensure adherence to QMS processes during product testing and validation.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in defining QMS specifications for advanced robotics, automotive, or mechatronic products.
- Hands-on experience in quality auditing and system design in line with international standards.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with automated material handling systems and AI technologies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Project management expertise to successfully execute tasks.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Six Sigma certification.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and quality inspection processes.
